A Fresh new game development studio based in Manchester UK, founded by three students from Norwich University of the Arts. In 2017 we successfully released our first game "The Lost Bear" on PlayStation VR.
In 2019 we start our new journey into "Tails of Iron" under the publishing of the exciting new "United Label"
MEET THE ODDBUGS
- Daniel Robinson
The team leader but also the character artist designer and animator. Lost Bear was initially created by Dan whilst at university, and is loosely based on his sister. His favorite game is Morrowind.
- Martin "Harry" Reimann
Originally from Czech Republic, Martin is the teams artist. Inspired by his European roots, he brings our games to life with his funky hand drawn art style, His favourite game is S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
- Jack Bennett
His main role is the team producer and designer. He keeps everyone organised and the game progressing. His favourite game is The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
- Matthew Taylor
Lead Programmer and Gameplay Coder. Matt keeps the projects framework innovative and gameplay responsive and engaging. His favourite game is Spiderman.
- Nathan Williams
Programmer and Level Coder. He makes things like level loading and any creative tools needed for designers and artists in an intuitive and reliable way. His favourite game is Spelunky.
- Jey Kazi
Jey worked with us on The Lost Bear as the Lead Audio Designer. Jey has previously worked on games such as Tiny Keep and Sublevel Zero. His favourite game is Zelda Ocarina of time.
- Sebastian Castilho
Seb worked with us on The Lost Bear as the Lead Animator. Seb has previously worked on games such as Until Dawn, The Order: 1886, Ryse and Battlefield 4. His favourite game series is Metal Gear Solid.
- Francesco Ameglio
Francesco worked with us on Tails of Iron as the Audio Designer and Composer. Francesco has previously worked on Unto the End, Need For Speed Heat, Omensight and Castle Story. His favourite game series in Monkey Island.
- Malcolm Peacock
I’m Malcolm Peacock an odd musician and also Daniel Robinson’s grandad! I’ve always been inspired by Odd Bug Studios artwork and my biggest passion is creating traditional music that fit their stories. I use many instruments such as the mandolin, bouzouki and acoustic guitar to help bring projects to life.
